Annual Report 2020

ARNEC surmounts COVID-19 with agility and results. In the annual report 2020, the Secretariat recounts its efforts in ensuring that ECD is at the centre of COVID-19 response and the need to address the impact on the most vulnerable young children and their families. The Secretariat had to adjust as soon as social realities and work arrangements changed due to the pandemic to make sure that we were deeply connected to uphold ECD for young children, even as we were physically apart.

The year 2020 was tough, but together with partners, we emerged stronger and more committed to pursue holistic and inclusive early childhood development in the region.
