Children in the Asia-Pacific region live in diverse communities and societies, such
that advancing their rights and wellbeing depend as much on geographical,
economic, and cultural context.
ARNEC builds on this diversity to document and share effective policies,
programmes, and innovations on Early Childhood Development (ECD) to inspire
replication and trigger context-specific adaptation. Since its inception in 2008,
ARNEC has searched, reviewed, and shared ECD practices regionwide.
More than just case studies, these noteworthy ECD practices form part of
ARNEC's knowledge products, both print and online, to reach ECD policymakers,
advocates, and practitioners in the Asia- Pacific and beyond, and broaden the
multi-sectoral support for ECD in specific communities and societies in
the region.
